Ed is an analyst with over 13 years experience. He started his career as a research scientist, gaining a PhD while working to develop new methods and analyses using biomedical data. Moving to the civil service in 2013 as an operation researcher, he has gained experience of working with a large range of digital services, across different strategic and operational functions. Ed is committed to supporting teams to make good decisions, by helping them understand the data that they already hold, and what they might need. He enjoys the whole process of development from data collection with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, to analysis, interpretation, presentation and dashboard creation.
